Bart Ferraro received his Bachelor’s Degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Psychology, Sociology and Communication Disorders from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1978. His doctorate in Clinical Psychology followed in 1983, granted from Bowling Green State University. In 1984, Dr. Ferraro joined the faculty of the Indiana University School of Medicine and in 1988 he co-founded Meridian Psychological Associates, PC. Since that time, his practice has broadened to include expertise in divorce adjustment, domestic violence and the effects of abuse/trauma. Since 1996, Dr. Ferraro has served as Clinical Director of the Julian Center, a nationally recognized, multiservice, not for profit agency, serving those who have experienced abuse or violence in their lives. In concert with his years of experience and expertise in Child Custody Evaluation and Parenting Coordination, he has also become a Registered Domestic Mediator and Trained Collaborative Law Practitioner. Beyond these involvements in civil practice, Dr. Ferraro has become increasingly involved in criminal forensic consultation. He has lectured locally and regionally as an invited instructor on topics in both arena.
