John K. Purcell graduated in 2019 from Christian Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, having completed his undergraduate work at Butler University. Most of his early professional career was spent working in the non-profit sector dealing with families and includes work as an association director and as a director of funeral service. His practice is informed by a psychodynamic, object-relations perspective, and focuses on adults, adolescents, and children struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss.
Mr. Purcell is currently in supervised practice at Meridian Psychological Associates, seeking full licensure. He is currently accepting new patients on Medicaid or on a self-pay basis.
