Making Parents Advocates

Making Parents Advocates is a ten session group program, typically court ordered.  The program is aimed to assist co-parenting couples in their efforts to communicate and resolve conflicts more effectively.  Experiential, educational and interpersonal learning is employed to aid parents in developing improved problem solving skills and more constructive parenting-focused interactions.

Session topics include developing self awareness, improving empathy, practicing communication between co-parents, re-defining the problem, learning to succeed in co-parenting, and protecting your child.
